This Year's Project: Access for All
The LaunchPAD Childrens Museum is the Siouxland's champion of educational play and discovery. Through interactive exhibits and hands-on activities and play, children and their caregivers learn about science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). The regionally-focused exhibits dynamically incorpoarte elements of agriculture, wind, water, constructions, commerce, drama and much more.
Current Project: Access for All
The LaunchPAD Children's Museum is seeking scholarship funds to give low income families unrestricted access to the museum and its programs. Though our Access for All program, all families can have the opportunity to learn, explore, and play no matter their economic standing. By allowing access to the whole family, parents and children build lasting bonds through their play together, creating a healthier and happier family. Play is not only fun, but it is essential to development because it contributes to the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children and youth. Play also offers an ideal opportunity for parents to engage fully with their children. This program will allow the LaunchPAD Children's Museum to give low income families free, year long memberships.
