About Our Organization

MISSION STATEMENT Hope Street connects our community through innovation and collaboration, creating an inclusive and successful “continuum of care” that enables us to reach and serve those suffering from homelessness, addictions and mental illness in our Greater Siouxland community.

Current Project: Frank LaMere House

Our goal is to raise $17,000 to fund one month of operational costs to support 10 men in our community struggling with homelessness, addiction and mental illness. Our sober living home is unlike any other in the Siouxland Tri-State area. The operational costs consist of building maintenance, utilities, transportation costs, drug testing kits and professional support. Other costs include purchasing toiletries, clothing, laundry soap, and food. Our mission is to provide a safe, sober home to individuals looking to make a lifestyle change. They are supported through case management which offers life skills, help obtaining treatment for addiction and mental illness, and finding employment. It also allows each person to create a path of recovery by attending Alcoholics Anonymous and/or Narcotics Anonymous while seeking guidance from a sponsor in either of those programs. Hope Street of Siouxland has been able to successfully help 17 individuals find employment, independent living and an opportunity to change their life for the better. We are seeking help and support from our Siouxland community to continue this great mission and help those seeking to make a difference for themselves.
