Operation Engage America host resource events. While focusing on Post Traumatic Stress and Traumatic Brain Injury,(PTSD/TBI). Operation Engage America offers a variety of information on all aspects of Veteran health and transition issues. The events are open to the public. Operation Engage America highly encourages attendance by family and friends of Veterans, not only to become familiar with the many local resources available for their loved one, but for themselves as well. Operation Engage America has helped to connect veterans, service members and their families from all across the country to resources and help available ranging from mental health, suicide prevention, homelessness, financial, job opportunities and peer mentoring. OEA continues to advocate for changes within the VA system, making great strides at the state and federal legislative levels. PTSD and TBI are not military specific. Operation Engage America also assist non military community members to resources and help available focusing on PTSD/TBI and suicide prevention.
Operation Engage America host and participates in 8-10 events per year. The Operation Engage America events often include keynote speakers, free meals for attendees, free musical entertainment, and during the holiday events toys and gifts are purchased to provide children with Christmas gifts. In addition each Operation Engage America event has cost associated for venue rental, advertising and promotional material. The cost to host most events ranges from $2500.00-$3500.00.
