This Year's Project: Exterior Sign
About Our Organization
Enhancing Library Excellence Today, Endowing Library Excellence for Tomorrow. Sioux City Public Library Foundation is a non-profit, public benefit corporation that supports the Sioux City Public Library's mission by receiving, managing, and dispersing funds to ensure the Library's excellence. Sioux City Public Library welcomes more than 270,000 visitors each year across its three locations, providing access to individuals to learn, use technology, inform a decision, solve a problem, and unwind with a good book or movie. The Foundation's support is used to enhance collections, resources, and spaces at the Library that are open and available to all residents and patrons.
Current Project: Exterior Sign
The Library Foundation is seeking funds to replace the lighted, exterior sign at the Morningside Branch Library. The Morningside Branch recently underwent a full renovation, bringing the Library system's oldest facility forward and making it conducive to the way a 21st-century patron uses the library. A new exterior sign will complete the renovation project and improve the Library's visibility from the street for all visitors to the improved space.
