About Our Organization
Siouxland Pride Alliance is a welcoming place for our LGBTQ+ community and allies to find services and programs that lead to a stronger, healthier community and a more equitable world. We hold support groups for LGBTQ+ adults and youth. We provide resource navigation assistance. We are the official organizer of the Sioux City Pride Parade, Pride Festival and Pride Prom. In addition, we provide a resource library and trainings to local businesses and organizations. All our events are free to the public.
We are a grass roots organization whose purpose to promote the equality, safety, and wellbeing of all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Siouxland. We operate a resource center out of First Unitarian Church. We provide the information, support, networking and advocacy necessary to enhance the lives of our LGBT community with an emphasis on LGBT and questioning youth. We provide information and training to the Siouxland community about LGBT issues.

2019 Pride Prom
Our annual Pride Prom is a family friendly (no, alcohol, no tobacco, parents encouraged to attend) event where LGBT teens and their allies can be their true selves. It is a free evening of dancing, entertainment, karaoke, and food. We have outgrown our current venue. We need to raise funds towards the rental of a larger venue.
