About Our Organization
The LaunchPAD Childrens Museum is the Siouxland's champion of educational play and discovery. Through interactive exhibits and hands-on activities and play, children and their caregivers learn about science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). The regionally-focused exhibits dynamically incorpoarte elements of agriculture,wind, water, constructions, commerce, drama and much more.
Current Project: Education Supplies for daily programming
LaunchPAD Children's Museum focuses on educational, hands-on learning through play-based programming. During the week, LaunchPAD educators facilitate activities at 10 am, 1 pm and 4 pm in which up to 20 children per session get to experience supplemental fun that will spark their creativity and imagination. During the summer of 2024, LaunchPAD shared almost 468 activities reaching a potentail of 9,000 kids! In order to maintain high quality, exciting programming for all children, LaunchPAD needs help providing all the supplies that cover these fun times! Money raised during the big give will go towards items such as paint, crayons and markers, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, scientific learning sets, safety supplies such as gloves and goggles, and much more. Anything and everything helps LaunchPAD achieve our mission, to Spark a child's love of learning through hands on play and discovery. Your support will help our mission grow further!
LaunchPAD Endowment
Project Details
LaunchPAD is working towards growing our endowment to ensure the museum will be a part of the Siouxland community for many years to come. Our endowment is held within the Siouxland Community Foundation that serves many amazing local organizations. A donation to our endowment will help provide sustainability in an otherwise uncertain economic climate. Children in our community will continue to have a safe, clean environment to play and discover the world around them.

Access for All
Project Details
The LaunchPAD Children's Museum is seeking scholarship funds to give low income families unrestricted access to the museum and its programs. Though our Access for All program, all families can have the opportunity to learn, explore, and play no matter their economic standing. By allowing access to the whole family, parents and children build lasting bonds through their play together, creating a healthier and happier family. Play is not only fun, but it is essential to development because it contributes to the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children and youth. Play also offers an ideal opportunity for parents to engage fully with their children. This program will allow the LaunchPAD Children's Museum to give low income families free, year long memberships.
