This Year's Project: Helping the Community with Small Events
About Our Organization
The Orpheum Theatre Preservation Project, Ltd. was organized to operate, maintain and renovate the Orpheum Theatre, a movie/vaudeville theatre opened in 1927. The OTPP was also organized to benefit the community and the arts as a result of the aforesaid operations and to receive and administer funds for education or charitable purposes or for the public welfare and to operate a community multi-event presentation center exclusively for educational, charitable, scientific and literary purpose and for the promotion and advancement of the arts.
Organizations that have previously benefitted from non-profit sponsorship with the Orpheum Theatre include: Beyond the Bell, Support Siouxland Soliders, the Sioux City Conservatory of Music, the Sanford Center and more!
Current Project: Helping the Community with Small Events
The Orpheum Theatre is asking for help in assisting the community with some of the small projects that local non-profit groups would like to host at the Theatre. So many times a local group has a dream, of putting their vison up on the big stage. with this dream comes a cost, sometimes that cost is bigger than the group. We at the Orpheum Theatre, love to offer 50% off of the rental fee to help off set some of the other cost, but finding that extra money is not always easy, as building up keep and labor are costly.
The Orpheum Theatre would love it if you woild please consider donating to the Orpheum, to help us help the community!!
