This Year's Project: Sponsorship of Non-Profit Events


About Our Organization

The Orpheum Theatre Preservation Project, Ltd. was organized to operate, maintain and renovate the Orpheum Theatre, a movie/vaudeville theatre opened in 1927. The OTPP was also organized to benefit the community and the arts as a result of the aforesaid operations and to receive and administer funds for education or charitable purposes or for the public welfare and to operate a community multi-event presentation center exclusively for educational, charitable, scientific and literary purpose and for the promotion and advancement of the arts.

Organizations that have previously benefitted from non-profit sponsorship with the Orpheum Theatre include: Beyond the Bell, Support Siouxland Soliders, the Sioux City Conservatory of Music, the Sanford Center and more!



Current Project: Sponsorship of Non-Profit Events



By donating to the Orpheum Theatre through the Siouxland Big Give 2019, you will assist us with the sponoship of non-profit events. The Orpheum Theatre offers up to 50% reduced rental rates for qualifying non-profits to use of the theatre for events, such as fundraisers. Please consider donating to assist the Orpheum assist other non-profits, all of which benefit from this program.

  • General Theatre Updates

    Our goal at the Orpheum is to raise $10,000 to make general improvements and updates to the theatre to enhance the theater experience for our patrons and the community, by ensuring that the theatre’s equipment is current and competitive with other theaters of similar size and capacity.
