This Year's Project: Double Scholarships for Students

About Our Organization

The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Community School district serves around 1,700 students each year, and has frequently been ranked among the top high schools in Iowa by U.S. News. Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School was also named a 2018 National Blue Ribbon High School.

The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Community School Foundation serves as an extension of the school district's w, providing scholarship and grant funds to support the students and teachers of the district.

Individuals who wish to support the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Community School district may do so through scholarships, grants, memorials, and endowment contributions to the Foundation. Your gift will go directly to support students and teachers in the district and will help keep the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Community School district one of the best in Iowa.

Current Project: Double Scholarships for Students

Each year the SBL Schools Foundation provides $1,000 scholarships to ten graduating SBL seniors. With the rising cost of higher education and the cost of everyday living, we know that $1,000 only goes so far. That is why we have set a goal of raising $10,000 so we can raise the scholarship amount we offer next year to $2,000 without cutting into our endowment. All funds raised during Big Give will go toward doubling our scholarships for students next year - please make a gift to help us get there!
